Introduction
A one-day orientation programme under the Jal Samvad initiative was conducted on 23rd January 2024 at the Devi Ahilya University campus, Indore. The session was specially designed for NSS officers to enhance their understanding of sustainable water management, conservation techniques, and public awareness practices.

The highlight of the programme was the keynote session delivered by Dr. Sunil Chaturvedi, a distinguished Groundwater Scientist. His session covered:

He emphasized the significance of adopting water-wise approaches and encouraged officers to take up leadership roles in spreading awareness.

Participants actively interacted through discussions, demonstrations, and Q&A sessions. The programme created a strong sense of responsibility among officers toward groundwater replenishment and rational water usage..
